Meet Dr. Bethany Baillargeon
Dentistry is more than just teeth; it’s about the connections you make with people. I love the challenge of figuring out the best option for each patient and helping patients to decide how they want to move forward. As a dentist, I get to make a difference in my patients’ lives by creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and well taken care of. I love having time to talk and build long-term relationships with patients. Seeing a patient’s smile as he or she arrives for a visit makes me so happy; I want people to look forward to coming to see me, the way I look forward to seeing them.
EDUCATION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. With the understanding that dentistry is a constantly changing field, I have focused on trying to increase my knowledge in many different areas. My varied continuing education has ranged from gaining knowledge on implants, extractions, dentures, to extensive full mouth reconstruction cases and facial esthetics classes. I also participate in a monthly study club with other local dentists and specialists to make sure I am constantly working to improve my knowledge.
I feel fortunate to have been able to participate in hands-on training with Spear Advanced Dental Education since 2014 and most recently the Pankey Institute in 2020. I plan to continue to advance my knowledge to provide the best outcome for each individual patient. From my continuing education, I have been able to learn there can be many options for treatment for each individual’s situation. It has been fun to communicate these options to patients and help each individual decide what is best for them.

PERSONAL LIFE
I live Lake Park with my husband, who is a faculty member in Agriculture Education at NDSU, and our two young children. We love living in the lakes area and enjoy spending as much time as possible outside with our family. Recently we have started to grow grapes, which has been a learning process to say the least! I also participate as a member of the Pelican Rapids Rotary Club.
